KRISTINE YAN

Kristine Yan is from Changsha, China, and she is currently a master's student at Carnegie Melon University Art Management Major. After graduating from Pratt Institute with a Fine Arts bachelor, Kristine worked as a bench jeweler in New York City for a year, where she became interested in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the art field. Now she is researching how to make art and artists from different countries and races equally accessible to the public.
Kristine's art was influenced by architect Zaha Hadid and artist Eva Hesse in her undergraduate design, and she mainly studied the relationship between future architecture and humans.
